In terms of size, Uganda is the richest country for birds in Africa, with over 1000 species recorded. Which is more than half of the continents bird population and over 10% of bird species recorded through out the world. Nearly 30 species are endemic to the Albertine Rift on Uganda s western boarder with Congo.
GAME SAFARIS
A nature walk through the forest on any of the trails, will give you an opportunity to see and learn about primates, bird species, Bwindi s colorful array of butterflies, trees, pre-historic tree ferns and other organisms. The forest itself is lush and green and there are streams running through it.
CULTURAL SITES
Kasubi Tombs
Kasubi tombs are the traditional royal tombs of the kings of buganda.The tombs are situated 5km away from the Kampala city centre. This interesting site is where the dead kings of Buganda kingdom are buried. Buganda kingdom is in the central and southern part of Uganda.

Uganda is an ideal fishing destination. With one third of the country covered by water; there is great opportunity for sport fishing. Nile perch the largest fresh water game fish in the world, are the main catch in Lake Victoria and below

GORILLA TRACKING
Uganda is best known world wide as the most convenient base for tracking the rare and endangered Mountain Gorilla, of which just 320 remain in Uganda! The location of the Gorillas habitat is divided between Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and the Virunga Volcano Region, both located in the south west regions of Uganda, approximately 600 km from Kampala, the capital city of Uganda.
